(VOVworld) - On Tuesday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt and the Red Sea Chamber of Commerce cohosted a workshop to introduce opportunities for cooperation between Vietnamese and Egyptian enterprises and promote bilateral trade as part of the ongoing Vietnam-Egypt Cultural Week in the city of El Gouna, Red Sea Governorate.

Speaking to the workshop, ambassador Do Hoang Long said Vietnam and Egypt have a potential for cooperation in agriculture, forestry, fishery, mining, and tourism, so both governments should find ways to exploit this potential.

The Vietnamese Embassy is helping Egyptian businesses create a forum to share and update information, which businesses in the Red Sea Governorate can join. Mr. Long said he hopes to achieve other goals, including boosting the relationship between Danang city and the Red Sea Governorate.
