(VOVworld) – The ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network made its debut in Hanoi on Tuesday. The network aims to increase exchanges, share experiences, put forth initiatives to create a better business environment, and improve awareness and support for female entrepreneurs.

Addressing the launching ceremony, Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen said:“The establishment of a network involving women entrepreneurs in ASEAN  will contribute to boosting trade and economic activities in and outside the bloc to improve gender equality and empower women toward turning ASEAN into a peaceful, stable, and prosperous region. I recommend the ASEAN Economic Community, ASEAN Business Community, and partners from around the world to strengthen cooperation and links with the network to truly empower women and generate more jobs.”
