(VOVworld) - Head of the Party Central Committee’s External Affairs Commission has participated at the 8th International Conference of Asian Political Parties in Sri Lanka. Hoang Binh Quan met Sri Lankan President Mahida Rajapaksa and thanked him for Sri Lankan support for Vietnam’s national construction and defense. The President praised Vietnam’s success in its renewal process and welcomed exchanges of visit between the two countries’ leaders to promote bilateral cooperation. The event attracted 300 delegates from 75 political parties in 30 Asian countries.
