(VOVworld)- More than 7 million foreign visitors arrived in Vietnam in November, 13% higher than October and 20% than last year. Most of the foreign tourists were from Hong Kong (China), the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan (China), the US, and Finland.

Thanks to visa exemptions, tourist number from the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain have also risen sharply. The number of tourists from Spain went up by 10.7%. Experts attributed the growth to Vietnam’s policy on visa exemptions and attractive tourist products offered by travel companies. It’s now also the peak season for tourism. The Vietnamese government has recently issued a policy on visa exemption for overseas Vietnamese tourists, especially from Europe and America.
