Mobilizing 1 million Tet gifts for poor families
(VOVworld)- The Vietnam Red Cross Society intends to raise funds to buy 1 million Tet gifts for the poor through its program “Tet for the poor and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin”.
The Society, the Ministry of Information and Communications, National Humanitarian Portal 1400 have jointly launched a SMS campaign aiming to raise funds to help the poor. The Society has also organized an online photo contest with the message “Sharing moments- Connecting love” to communicate the value of humanity and the humane tradition of Vietnamese people. The contest aims to inspire the community to humanitarian activities.
