(VOVworld) – A workshop on reforming, developing, and improving the efficiency of collective economy in national economic restructuring was held in Hanoi on Saturday.

Head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission Vuong Dinh Hue said promoting collective economy is a unanimous orientation of the Vietnamese Party and State. Mr. Hue said: “In a market economy, the growth of collective economy is a must. While reforming the national economy and restructuring growth model toward global integration, it’s important to raise the competitiveness of domestic products. Vietnam’s agriculture is mainly small production and cooperation to form collective is a necessary trend.”

Delegates discussed the Party guideline and State policy to develop the collective economy, the role and responsibility of the administration, and the involvement of the Coalition of Collectives, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and social organizations, and measures to promote the collective economy.
