Russian and European media hail Vietnamese Party leader’s visit to Russia, Belarus - ảnh 1

(VOVworld) – Last week Russian newspaper Pravda published opinions by  Russian scholars and experts about Vietnamese Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong's visit to Russia, considering it a historic milestone in bilateral ties.
Keonid Kalashnikov, first Vice President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Russian Lower House, said relations between the two countries have been developed to a high level and have been promoted in all areas including economics, industry, and culture. President of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association Vladimir Buyanov said Vietnam-Russia relations have been elevated to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership. An expert of the Russian International Affairs Council, Anton Svetov, said that among Asian countries, Vietnam has a prominent position in Russia’s preferential foreign policy in Asia.

On November 22, the Euro Presse Image (EPI) news agency ran a story giving positive comments on the Party chief’s visit to Russia and Belarus. The article said the Vietnamese leader’s visit will foster and deepen bilateral partnership in politics, economics, science-technology, culture, education, tourism, and aviation.
