Season's Greetings to Catholic dignitaries

The Vietnam Catholic Unity Committee held a get-together to mark Christmas 2011. Priest Nguyen Cong Danh, Chairman of the Committee, said over the past year Catholic people in Vietnam have been side by side with the nation in economics, culture, and in campaigns to build healthy residential areas initiated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Catholic followers have contributed to charitable activities, including raising funds for natural disaster victims, poor people, children with disabilities, orphans and homeless elder people. In its congratulatory letters sent to the Catholic Unity Committees of cities and provinces and Catholic people nationwide, the Vietnam Catholic Unity Committee  said that Vietnamese Catholics have made their religious love closer to the nation.
The committee wished a merry Christmas to all Catholics throughout the country.
