(VOVworld) - Nghe Tinh Vi-Giam folk singing of Vietnam is one of 46 current nominees for UNESCO recognition as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
Cecile Duvelle, Secretary in charge of examining the reports, told a press briefing on Tuesday that 70% of the nominees will be introduced at UNESCO’s 9th session opening on November 24.

800 delegates from the 24 member countries of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage and countries with nominees for UNESCO recognition will attend the session.
