(VOVworld) - Children representatives from ASEAN countries will gather in Hanoi next week for the 4th ASEAN children forum.
The bi-annual event is hosted in turn in ASEAN member countries to gather children’s views and messages in social welfare and development. This year’s forum drives towards a friendly ASEAN community for kids where all could share and benefit from common values.
Le Kim Dung is the International Cooperation Director of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs: “Vietnam’s hosting of the forum reflects our membership responsibility and commitment. It’s important to promote the listening to children’s views and encourage their participation. Vietnam reiterates its commitment to promote human centered approach and a friendly environment for children.”
