Vietnamese, Egyptian culture and music to be promoted on radio

(VOVWORLD) - Leaders of the Voice of Vietnam and Egypt National Radio have pledged cooperation in exchanging cultural and music programs to deepen mutual understanding of the two peoples.

During his working visit to Cairo on Tuesday, VOV Vice President Nguyen Xuan Huy affirmed readiness to work with Egypt’s media agencies in information sharing and realizing the memorandum of understanding the two national radio stations signed last year.

Nadia Mabrouk, chairwoman of Egypt National Radio, urged continued cooperation between the two radio agencies, in particular combining political and cultural events marking the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Egypt. The two agencies will increase the exchange of reporters and the sharing of technology.

Mr. Huy said VOV, as a multi-media agency, will make full use of radio and television programs provided by Egypt National Radio and Television Stations.
