Mr. Ky made the call at Tuesday’s reception at VOV headquarters in Hanoi for the visiting high-level delegation from Lao National Radio led by Director General Phosy Keomanivong.

“Social networks are drawing audience from us, while there is much inaccurate, even harmful information on the Internet. This is also a challenge for Lao National Radio because it’s a global issue. The two radio stations should increase meetings and talks to seek ways to address the difficulties in these new times,” Mr. Ky said.

Lao National Radio’s Director General Phosy Keomanivong expressed his hope for more exchanges to learn about VOV’s experiences.

"Cooperation between the two stations will be more efficient, especially through the exchange of delegations. VOV’s training of reporters, editors, and technicians has helped us grow strongly. Despite numerous challenges, we should tap our strengths to boost mainstream information of high quality”, Director General Phosy Keomanivong underlined.
