VOV listeners clubs gathering in Hanoi

(VOVworld) - Voice of Vietnam has hosted an event gathering listeners clubs in Hanoi to mark the Station's 70th anniversary. Addressing the event, VOV Vice President Vu Hai thanked the listeners for their support and love to the radio.

He said many VOV listeners clubs have been set up overseas, including those in Angola, Japan, and France: “Voice of Vietnam has received support from the Party and government and constructive opinions from listeners. We have received dozens of thousands letters from listeners at home and abroad. They have directly engaged in program productions to enrich our contents.”

Mr. Hai informed participants of VOV annexation with VTC, bringing total TV channels to 17, with 7 radio channels and a new 24/7 English program to be launched in quarter 4, 2 printed newspapers and two online newspapers. VOV now has connection with 60 radio and TV organizations worldwide.
