(VOVWORLD) - VOV President Nguyen The Ky has reported to the government, the purchase of the right to broadcast Asian Games matches.

During the government’s monthly meeting on Thursday, Mr. Ky thanked the Prime Minister, the Party Central Committee’s Communications and Education Commission, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and media agencies for supporting the Voice of Vietnam to negotiate with KJSM World Corp, to gain the broadcasting rights to ASIAD 2018 to entertain the Vietnamese public.
VOV received financial support from Vingroup, Viettel, and Vietnam Airlines. Vietnamese people can follow many matches of ASIAD 2018 on VOV’s TV and radio channels: VOV1, VOV2, VOV3, VOV Traffic, VOV Health, VTC1, VTC3, VTC9, VOVTV, VTC Now, VOV Media, and vov.vn.
VOV has also allowed all 54 Vietnamese radio and television stations to relay the ASIAD broadcasts.
