VOV vows to boost national sports development
(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) pledges to continue its efforts to popularize Vietnamese sports, Tran Minh Hung, VOV's Vice President said at the closing ceremony of the National Futsal Championship 2018 in Quang Ninh province on Tuesday.
Mr. Hung said: "VOV wants to show the Vietnamese people its determination to popularize sports like futsal. VOV is working with media and state management agencies to organize other sports championships, like swimming and tennis."
Tran Anh Tu, a permanent member of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Head of the Futsal Department, praised VOV's contribution. He said: "Infrastructure and publicizing of futsal tournaments have been massively improved by VOV's co-organization. This is a good thing."
Thai Son Nam successfully defended its championship by beating Sanna Khanh Hoa 3-2 in this year's HDBank National Futsal CHampionship final.
