Information portal for start-ups to be established

(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese government has approved a national project to help start-up businesses reform and innovate until 2025. The project, proposed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, is intended to boost the start-up movement and provide them with more tax incentives and consultations on finance, law, and technology.

According to the project, if start-ups are established on technological innovative ideas, they will be able to produce competitive, quality products for domestic and overseas markets. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung said: “The project will focus on settling policy related issues to facilitate business investment. It will create a common place for start-ups where they will receive training and consultations by experts in finance, science, market, and law.”

Mr. Tung said an information portal is needed to connect start-ups and investors: “We’ll establish an information portal to connect start-ups at home and abroad. We expect to introduce start-up training in university curriculum soon.”

The Ministry of Science and Technology will help start-ups commercialize their products by creating market and demand-supply connectivity and establishing a market development strategy for each product.
