Chinese businesses praised Vietnam’s improved investment environment and said they want to expand their business in Vietnam in environment-friendly tech sectors.

Prospects

China is the world’s 2nd biggest economy and Vietnam’s biggest trade partner. Lát year’s trade turnover between Vietnam and China is 94 billion USD, contributing one-fourth of Vietnam’s total import-export revenue. China is Vietnam’s biggest importer of agro-forestry and fishery products, generating 30 billion USD in revenue in 9 months of 2018. Vietnam is reducing exports of raw materials and minerals to China.

Prime Minister Phuc’s trip has strengthened the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic partnership and created new momentum for trade and business expansion.
