(VOVworld) – During its first plenary session in Hanoi on Wednesday, the 14^th National Assembly’s Committee for External Affairs approved the working regulations of the Committee.

The regulations state that the Committee operates in accordance with the principles of central democracy, collectively, and by majority decision. The Committee’s operations abide by the law and ensure information, transparency, democracy, and the leadership of Party, National Assembly, National Assembly’s Standing Committee, and the National Assembly Chairwoman. In the morning session, the Committee for External Affairs deliberated over government reports on foreign affairs in 2016, on the implementation of state budget collection and spending in 2016, and on the Foreign Ministry’s budget estimates for 2017.
