(VOVworld) – 73 scholarships of the Young Age newspaper were given to poor students in the two provinces of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan in central Vietnam on Sunday.

This year, approximately 1,500 new poor students nationwide will receive scholarships worth 500,000 USD. Nguyen Thi Diem Khoa of Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province, said: “My father died before I was born and my mother died two years ago. I had to borrow money to cover my tuition fees. The scholarship of the Young Age newspaper will help partly cover my tuition fees.”
