(VOVworld) - A project on poverty reduction in the Central Highlands and central coastal region was launched in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province, on Thursday. With 165 million USD funded by the World Bank, the poverty reduction project will help ensure adequate food and nutrition, boost production, expand access to public services, and improve local authorities’ capacity for efficient implementation.

The project will benefit about 540,000 people in disadvantaged areas.
