20 murdered at Pakistani shrine

(VOVworld) – 20 people were murdered and 4 others were wounded Sunday morning at a Sufi shrine in Pakistan's Punjab province. Local police rushed to the site and arrested Abdul Waheed, the shrine's custodian, and 2 others believed to be his accomplices. Waheed, who appeared to be paranoid and psychotic, confessed that he killed these people because he feared they had come to kill him. The case could be related to rivalry for the control of the shrine.
