(VOVWORLD) - The 20th Vietnam Film Festival will take place in Da Nang city next month to honor Vietnam’s best movies and give film actors and producers an opportunity to share experience.

The festival will feature 77 films in 4 categories: feature films, science films, documentaries, and animation. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien said: “The festival is part of the activities to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). It affirms the crucial role of the cinema industry in promoting culture, traditional friendship, and cooperation between ASEAN members via the ASEAN Film Awards initiated by Vietnam.”
20 classic Vietnamese films will be screened during the event which runs from November 24-28.
