(VOVworld)- The 23^rd Vietnam International medical and pharmaceutical exhibition (Vietnam Medi – Pharm 2016) opened in Hanoi on Wednesday, drawing the participation of 350 groups and companies from 30 countries and territories.

The event is being hosted by the Ministry of Health, the Vietnam Medical Import-Export company and the Vietnam Advertisement & Fair Exhibition Company. Since its first event in 1994, the exhibition has showcased companies’ achievements, modern technologies and the best products. It is a venue for exchanges and experience-sharing between partners, producers and business people. There are also Q&A sessions, workshops, symposiums, blood donation campaigns, and activities to educate the public on how to keep fit.
