3 Vietnamese cities among world's cheapest destinations
(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hoi An in central Vietnam are among the cheapest places for travel in the 2019 Backpacker Index formulated by Price of Travel, the world’s largest database of travel costs.

The capital city Hanoi tops the list of 137 tourist hotspots around the world where backpackers need just more than 18 USD a day. It is followed by Ho Chi Minh City with nearly 20 USD per day, and Hoi An ranks eighth with a daily budget of 21 USD.
