The campaign includes a series of socially beneficial activities, including a charity walk around Thien Quang Lake as a fund raiser for disadvantaged children from suburban communes. ‘Green traffic’ volunteers will be stationed at key junctions to direct vehicles and monitor road safety. Protecting the environment, including cleaning the pottery road along the Red River, is another campaign priority. Deputy Secretary of the City’s Youth Union, Nguyen Anh Thang “I love Hanoi is a unique program by the city’s young people to reflect their role and responsibility in the building of a civilized and prosperous capital city. The campaign has created a visual exhibition targeting younger drivers to raise public awareness about road safety issues”
