(VOVworld) – A week of culture and tourism to terraced rice fields will be held from September 24 – 26 in Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province.

The program will include a number of events such as a ceremony to announce the recognition of the Quya Hieng festival of the Dao ethnic people in Hoang Su Phi as a national intangible cultural heritage, the worshipping ritual of forest genie, a new rice worshipping ritual and the Gau Tao festival of the Mong ethnic people in Peo hamlet in the district. Visitors will have the chance to visit rice fields in the area and take part in traditional cultural and sports activities such as horse dances, love duet singing, swinging, and goat fighting.
