(VOVworld) – Various activities are underway to mark May Day and Workers’ Month. A celebration to mark the event will be held in Hanoi.

Nguyen Van Ngang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, said at the press conference.

The event is expected to draw the participation of more than 5,000 workers. At a press conference on Monday, Nguyen Van Ngang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, said: “The meeting will be held on May 1^st in Hanoi. 10 outstanding made in Vietnam products will be honored to highlight the skill of our workers. Provinces are organizing various activities to mark the event. The Trade Union will always support the sustainable development of enterprises and the benefit of workers”.
