(VOVworld) – An art performance to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 126^th birthday was held in HCM city on May 19. The show reviewed milestones in President Ho Chi Minh’s life from leaving Vietnam in 1911 at the age of 21 to seek a path to for national salvation to becoming the eventual leader of Vietnam’s revolution.

The Sen village festival in Nghe An province ended on Thursday with a grand ceremony. The festival from May 17-19 included a Youth Camp, an photo exhibition on the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, a singing contest, and a film about Ho Chi Minh.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine, and a school named under President Ho Chi Minh co-organized a workshop on the struggle for national independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people. The Vietnamese embassies in Algeria and Mozambique held meetings and offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh on his birthday on May 19.
