(VOVworld) – Many activities to promote Quang Ninh tourism are taking place as part of a festival called “Vietnam Discovery” held in London over the weekend featuring Vietnamese culture, cuisine and crafts. Quang Ninh’s tourism promotion was in spotlight of efforts to boost Vietnam-UK tourism cooperation.

At a seminar on Quang Ninh tourism, Vietnam’s Ambassador to the UK Nguyen Van Thao hailed Quang Ninh’s many advantages in promoting tourism cooperation with UK partners. He said UK tourists would play as a bridge connecting and boosting the two countries’ cooperation and exchanges, especially in tourism. Dang Huy Hau, Deputy Chairman of the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee, said 50% of 150,000 UK visitors to Vietnam every year choose to visit Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province. He pledged best conditions to UK businesses to operate in the province.
