(VOVworld) – Can Tho city has organized an employment day for the disabled as part of its activities in observance of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Persons with disabilities need care and support to integrate into the community

At this event, disabled people found suitable jobs or registered to take part in vocational training courses in embroidery, garment making, graphic design, or repairing electronic devices.

The Southern province of Bac Lieu held a conference on Tuesday to honor outstanding disabled people of 2014. The event drew more than 100 delegates including contributors to the revolution, invalids, disadvantaged women, and students. The conference honored individuals who managed to overcome hardship to become successful in life.
