APEC mulls ways to attract SMEs to logistics industry
(VOVWORLD) -Measures to promote the involvement of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the global logistics supply chains topped the agenda of APEC’s senior official meeting in HCM city on Saturday.
Delegates agreed that SMEs are enjoying great opportunities to engage in logistics services. Vietnam has designed a national program on logistics service development but there is still much to be done, according Tran Chi Dung, Director of Logistics Knowledge Company.
“There should be more incentives. For instance, the Government needs to offer new policies and financial support to promote businesses’ integration,” Dung said.
