APEC mulls ways to boost small, medium enterprises
(VOVWORLD) -Micro, small and medium enterprises and startups are the main factors that promote innovation in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a symposium in HCM city on Monday
Hoang Van Dung, Chairman of the APEC Business Advisory Council Vietnam said science and technology application is key for enterprises to access markets, shape new trade and broaden connectivity. Other measures include finance and human resource training, he said.
“Small and medium businesses have contributed significantly to Vietnam’s economy. This seminar is an excellent opportunity to find the best ways to help these enterprises grow stronger in the region,” Dung added.
The seminar was co-hosted by the Canadian government and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
