APPF’s organizing board meets
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong has chaired a board meeting of the 26th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF).
 Hanoi will host the 26th APPF from January 18-20, 2018.

Mrs. Phong, head of the APPF’s organizing board, urged sub-committees to enhance communication and ensure security for the forum to be held in Hanoi from January 18-20 next year. She said this will be an opportunity for Vietnam to promote its image as a dynamic, reformed, and modern country.
Membership of the APPF will in principle be open to all parliamentarians of sovereign countries in the Asia-Pacific region. MPs attending the annual meeting represent their parliaments or are on behalf of themselves.
