(VOVworld) - A competition for promoting understanding among member countries of ASEAN has been launched in Hanoi.

The competition, entitled 2nd ASEAN Graphic Arts Competition and Exhibition - Vietnam 2016, is being held by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition and International Co-operation Department of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry of Vietnam, in collaboration with the ASEAN countries’ embassies in Vietnam and the Vietnamese embassies in ASEAN countries. The contest is an opportunity for Vietnamese and ASEAN artists to exchange experiences and showcase new works of print painting and graphic art. All artists from ASEAN countries can upload photos of a maximum of two of their works to the competition website aseangraphicart.vn. The works must be dated between 2013 and March 2016.
