(VOVworld) – An arts exchange program to honor war invalids, martyrs, and revolutionary contributors was held in Hanoi on Thursday.

The event was attended by Politburo member and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) Nguyen Thien Nhan and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam. From television reports, documentary videos and photos, and interviews with officials who were unit commanders during the war, the audiences learned about the great contributions and sacrifices made by soldiers and heroic mothers in protecting the fatherland. On this occasion, the organizing board presented gifts to heroic mothers.
