(VNA) – Thirty economies in the Asia - Pacific region have agreed to strengthen asset disclosure systems, fight the use of financial systems for corruption purposes, and ensure the tracking and recovery of corrupted assets. At the 11th regional seminar of the ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia and the Pacific in Hanoi on Wednesday, participants proposed solutions to prevent and fight corruption, including the building of comprehensive and effective asset disclosure systems, and the simplification of administration and legal procedures. They said that it is necessary to strengthen information exchange and domestic and international co-operation in the investigation of corruption.
