According to Fox Sports Asia, although Vietnam lost 2-3 to Iraq and Quang Hai didn’t score a goal, the 21-year-old player had an outstanding performance, judged to be the best among the strikers of the Vietnamese squad.

Hai was involved in the build-up to both goals the Golden Dragons scored, and came close to netting one of his own with a trademark curling shot from the edge of the goal area. Vietnam will play against Iran on Saturday and Yemen next week.
