August Revolution, National Day marked across Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - An incense offering ceremony was held on Friday at a temple dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh in the southern province of Hau Giang, as part of activities to mark the 73rd anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

Also on Friday, descendants of Nguyen Sinh and Hoang Xuan clans held a ceremony to mark the 49th death anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh. Participants offered incense and floral wreaths in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh’s contribution to national salvation and independence.

The Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue province hosted a ceremony the same day to receive 189 artifacts associated with President Ho Chi Minh and the local people’s lives during the two resistance wars.
