Black Friday shopping spree in Vietnam’s major cities
(VOVWORLD) - Many shopping malls and stores in Hanoi and HCMC are offering attractive promotional packages from 10% to 90% to boost consumption during this year’s Black Friday sale.

People on Friday night flocked to fashion streets and major shopping malls in HCMC like Vincom Dong Khoi, Parkson and areas in District No. 1 to shop for clothes, fashion accessories, cosmetics, electronic devices and home appliances, which are on discounts of up to 70%. Major international brands including Adidas, Charles and Keith, and Fitflop are also offering their customers great deals of up to 50%.
Nguyen Thuy Khanh, a salesperson at a LG electronic store in Vincom Shopping Center at Dong Khoi street, Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, said "We’ve received a lot of visitors since morning as many products are on sale at cheap price. We have very little time to rest during such occasions like this."
Hanoi’s Department of Industry and Trade has launched the Hanoi Midnight Sale at Times City in Hanoi with discounts of up to 100% to stimulate consumption demands at the year-end period. The event is expected to promote the city’s night economy, create shopping and entertaining spaces for people in Hanoi with a hope to revive trade and production from the COVID-19 pandemic.
