Cambodian NA confirms Samdech Techo Hun Sen as Prime Minister
(VOVWORLD) - Cambodia's National Assembly on Thursday confirmed Samdech Techo Hun Sen as Prime Minister for another five years after his Cambodian People's Party (CPP) won all the parliamentary seats in a July general election.

The Cambodian National Assembly also approved Hun Sen's new cabinet members for the 2018-2023 term, which is made up of 10 deputy Prime Ministers, 17 senior ministers, and 29 ministers.
According to an official schedule, the Prime Minister and his cabinet will be sworn in Thursday afternoon at the Royal Palace under the auspices of the nation's King Norodom Sihamoni, who signed a Royal order appointing Samdech Hun Sen Prime Minister for the 2018-2023 tenure on August 17. On Wednesday morning, the Cambodia NA opened its first session presided over by the King.
