(VOVworld)- On Sunday, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam National Television’s VTV24 News Centre jointly launched a national campaign called “Let’s clean up the ocean”.

Le Quoc Phong, the First Secretary of the Youth Union’s Central Committee and President of the Vietnamese Students’ Association, spoke at the launch:
“In addition to the campaign, we strengthen communications activities to encourage the public and youth union members to clean up the ocean and keep it always clean”.
Le Thi Phuong, a student at Hong Duc University in Thanh Hoa province, participates in the campaign: “We have participated in numerous voluntary activities. This campaign is of great importance for us. Cleaning up the sea will make the sea environment cleaner”.
More than 28,000 students, youth union members, and border soldiers in 28 coastal cities and provinces responded to the campaign.
