All police staff will be deployed to safeguard APEC activities. Can Tho’s public security force will work with local departments to advocate the significance of the APEC Year hosted by Vietnam, get people to obey the law, and take steps to protect delegates and leaders throughout the events.

A “Food security and high-level policy dialogue on food security and sustainable agriculture, and response to climate change” week will be held in Can Tho next week as part of the APEC Year. There will be 15 meetings, seminars and conferences in Can Tho, including the minister-level meeting to be attended by the leaders of global economies and over 500 other delegates.
