Celebrated foreign chefs join Da Nang International Food Festival
(VOVWORLD) -The Da Nang International Food Festival opened on Sunday, gathering renowned chefs from countries like Germany, Mexico, Australia, India, China, and the US.
The highlight of the 5-day event involves world-class chefs using Vietnamese ingredients to make their country’s typical dishes.
President of the World Association of Chefs’Societies Thomas Andeas Gugler will select a chef to represent each nation in demonstrating cooking skills each night. Visitors are also treated to central Vietnam’s signature dishes, a street art show, and a food carnival.
Da Nang was ranked 15th among top 52 not-to-miss destinations in 2019 by the New York Times.
