Central Theoretical Council discusses inputs for 13th National Party Congress

(VOVWORLD) -The Central Theoretical Council convened its 10th meeting in Hanoi on Friday to clarify issues to be included in documents, which will be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress in 2021.

Other topics of discussion were forecast of opportunities and challenges Vietnam will face in the years to come, viewpoints and model of national development, national development goals by 2025, 2030 and vision to 2045. Delegates focused their discussion on the roles and orientations of ownerships and economic sectors in 5 to 10 years, cultural development, social fairness and advancement, close link between economic development and political reform.

Tran Quoc Toan, a member of the Central Theoretical Council, said: “Human resources breakthrough is correct but not enough because no other countries can help train our humans as masters of national development, especially human values and national values. So, it’s necessary to consider human resources breakthrough, particularly high-quality human recourses as main player and goals of national development and renewal in the new period.”
