(VOVworld) - Zhang Dejiang, a standing Politburo member and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, began his official visit to Vietnam on Tuesday.

His 4-day visit, made at the invitation of Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, is the first by a high-ranking Chinese official after Vietnam’s 12^th National Party Congress and the election for the 14^th National Assembly.
