Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee receives Mexico’s Labor Party General Secretary
(VOVworld) – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong informed visiting Mexican guests about the socio-economic achievements his city has made over the past few years.

While receiving a delegation led by Mexico’s Labor Party General Secretary Alberto Anaya Gutierez on Thursday, Mr. Phong suggested that Mexican Labor Party would promote cooperative activities with the Communist Party of Vietnam in general and with Ho Chi Minh City in particular to boost mutual understanding and solidarity between the two countries.
General Secretary Gutierez said Mexico highly appreciated the role of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam’s struggles for national independence and reunification, as well as in its present national construction and development.
