Chairman of Russia’s State Duma to visit Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin began his 2-day official visit to Vietnam, starting on Sunday.

The visit is made at the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. The visit is aimed at enhancing cooperative ties between the two countries’ legislative bodies and between the two countries. Vietnam and Russia set up diplomatic ties on January 30, 1950 and since then, the two countries’ relations have been developing strongly.
