China, India boost border talks

(VOVworld) – China and India have agreed to strengthen negotiations on border issues with a view to safeguarding peace and stability in the two countries’ border area.

At a Friday meeting between representatives of the China-India border talks in Hyderabad, India, China's State Councilor Yang Jiechi said China is willing to maintain communication and dialogue at various levels, and properly handle sensitive issues with India. India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval expressed India's willingness to maintain high-level exchanges of visits and strategic communication with China. He said India is willing to strengthen cooperation with China and handle disputes through dialogue.
