China reacts to US mid-term elections result
(VOVWORLD) -Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said the US mid-term election is Washington’s internal affairs, saying regardless of the outcome China "won't change its recognition of the importance of China-US relations."

Ms. Hua made her comment at the regular media briefing of the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, shortly after the results of the US congressional elections were released. She said China expects both countries will constantly expand their practical cooperation on the basis of equality, respect, and mutual benefits.
