China refutes US accusations of violating WTO rules
(VOVWORLD) - China has refuted US accusations that it has violated WTO rules, saying it will continue to abide by the rules and calling on the US to respect and obey WTO rules.
At a press briefing on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said China has always fulfilled its obligations, kept its promises, and made significant contributions to the world economy since it joined the WTO 17 years ago. The Chinese government joined the organization because it firmly believes that integration into the global economy is in line with the historical trend and that promoting free, open trade leads to win-win results, according to the spokesperson.
